Firefighter Mike Sheridan, Firefighter Jason Bienhoff, and Captain Eric Jones participated in the SCBA Challenge hosted by Linwood Fire Association at Stomp Out Suicide’s 15th Anniversary 5K event in Wyoming this morning. Firefighters from around the region attempted to complete the 5K while wearing their full turnout gear.

It was amazing to see the number of people who came together to raise awareness and remember their loved ones.

It’s okay to not be okay. And it’s okay to ask for help.

The water plant is currently back online, and water is being filtered and treated as expected.

WATER PLANT ISSUE

The water plant is currently offline for an unknown reason. Crews are actively troubleshooting the problem and will restore services as soon as possible. The city has water in the water tower, however, that is a limited quantity.

As a result, until further notice please minimize water use, and do not water lawns or use water for recreational uses.

The city of Braham will update residents as information is available.

Smoke from the wildfires burning near the Boundary Waters has moved into our area, resulting in reduced air quality across much of Minnesota.

If possible:
😷 Limit prolonged outdoor activity, especially if you have asthma, heart or lung disease, or are an older adult or young child.
🏠 Keep windows closed and use air conditioning or an air purifier if available.
💧 Stay hydrated and check on neighbors who may be more vulnerable.

Please use extra caution while outdoors, and stay informed as conditions may change throughout the day.
