Chives are one of my favorite Spring gifts from the garden. They have beautiful flowers and their delicate onion flavor is perfect in salads, sprinkled on a casserole or made into a delicious butter! 😋

We have a limited variety of vegetables still needing gardens. Cabbage, brussel sprouts, tomatoes, and peppers are the majority.

It’s so HOT!

Some people have asked how we keep our plants alive in the high tunnel in such intense heat. We recently invested in a large shade cloth for our tunnel which will help us control direct sun damage to our tomatoes and peppers. Along with the automated drip irrigation, roll up sides, and large fan to suck out the hot air, we should have happy plants going forward.

Main Street Market Downtown Brainerd is located at South 6th Street and Laurel Street in the parking lot of City Hall, who so graciously lets us take over their parking spaces on Fridays to bring you this fabulous market!!! ☺️🩷☺️ 9am to 2pm every Friday.
Iwona's Pierogies will be joining us tomorrow so come hungry and grab some lunch!

Today we are working hard on garden prep and planting. We only have a few weeks until our summer CSAs and we want the new farm stand to be PLUMP with fresh vegetables this year. Not to mention we will be bringing a variety of produce to Main Street Market Downtown every week. Here’s a peek at the “before”. Can’t wait for these baby plants to start producing! 🌱🍅🥕🧑‍🌾
