Where do I get my chickens from?

I have one business partner that I contract. They raise my 20 week old pullets.
The reason I contract is I want everyting to be USDA and State of Virginia certified. He has the bio proof buildings labs etc. The birds are high tech quality chickens.

I have 8 month to a year old egg laying hens.
Great meat chickens great egg layers.
High producing chickens.
Very popular my customers really prefer this bird over my younger birds.
It too is Hyline Brown.

Why are the chicken prices so high this year.

The demand for chickens by farmers stripped the supply to the backyard farmer.
