Some of our followers are probably wondering what happened to our regular cute calf posts in the spring and our summer cattle show posts.
Unfortunately, regular is a word I would not use to describe our 2025 at the farm.

This past March we lost our home to a fire. Luckily, everyone was safe and not hurt.

But, this did cause us to move the whole herd from the farm leaving us to finish calving and do this year's breeding and other work without our facilities.

The challenges and struggles have been real and tough, but we are moving ahead.

Fast-forward to today- We are rebuilding! We hope to be in our new home before year end!

While the farm has taken a back seat to navigating insurance and the rebuild, we will still be pushing ahead but likely with a few head less. With that said, we have some tough decisions to make, but we will have calves available this fall! And may also have some cows and heifers to pick through. Stay tuned!

Happy Valentines day everyone!
It wouldn't be calving season if we didn't have to change plans tonight to deal with new babies ๐Ÿ˜‚

Valentines shout out to my better half, Emma โค๏ธ isn't it fitting that our first valentines day as a married couple would go from planning a steak dinner to spending the evening in the calving barn. Beyond blessed to be on this journey together.

Definitely some calves in this group that we are excited for!

2024 calving season is underway!

We are very excited to see this calf crop hit the ground. A year's worth of hard work coming around full circle again! This is one my favorite times of year. Even though it's long hours in the barn, little sleep some nights, and lots of work, it is the most rewarding to help bring new life into the world!

Stay tuned for more calf pictures through out the spring!

Happy New Year everyone! Enjoy some photos from this past year!

We'd like thank everyone who was a part of our journey in 2023. From supporting us as a customer, lending us a hand when needed, being a support system, or just beinging a friend, we can't thank you all enough! Without you all, we wouldn't be able to so what we do.

God as truly blessed us again this year. We are incredibly greatful for all of our blessings and the tough times we've had this year when we could strengthen our relationship with him.

As for 2024 plans you may ask? We are EXCITED for what is to come. While we've been incredibly busy this year, we've been striving to improve. God willing, 2024 and into the future will be a showcase of that. So stay tuned๐Ÿ˜Ž

Happy New Year, and God bless!

Another Angus heifer available!

GB Fireball 672 X HHCF Hickok Sparky ( Mill Bar Hickok X Brilliance)
DOB: 5/10/23

Just a good solid heifer. Could be a fun breeding piece to utilize for someone. We see her being a moderate frame cow like her dam, who was a reserve division winner for us at Wisconsin State Fair.
Weaned and ready to go! We haven't done any halter work with this calf yet, but are willing to if we have interest!

Feed her or breed her, we see potential either way.
Come take a look!
