I am slightly obsessed with Miss Calico’s turkey eggs. She is an older gal but is still sporadically laying in the springtime. Calico’s eggs are cream-colored with brown speckles - and I’m swooning over the gorgeous blush pink interior!

Hi friends and supporters. I have some big news. It is time for the next chapter, and I will be putting the farm up for sale this spring. I am so lucky to have called this place home for the past 12 years. And I am so grateful to all the people who made this dream possible for me - my family and friends most of all. But also a shout out to the diverse group of community members that taught me how to farm, how to organize, how to advocate, how to build a business: local organizations, national organizations, fellow producers and entrepreneurs, community organizers, neighbors, all of the folx involved in food and farming systems, etc.

There are so many ways to get closer to your food and to nature, and I am so pleased I was able to facilitate that for countless people. This property is truly a secret gem - it is healing on multiple levels and has provided a safe space for many over the years.

And don’t worry; Fruit of the Coop will still exist. Stay tuned for exciting news as the business shifts to a more urban setting! It is so hard to say goodbye but I am so excited for the future!
