Every fall, during cleanup, I’m amazed at how quickly it all goes. All the hours, days, weeks, and months spent growing these beautiful flowers… and it takes just a few hours to tear it all down.
After a busy summer of growing, I’m not going to lie... I’m happy to have a quick cleanup and some absolutely perfect weather to enjoy!

Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be planting tulip bulbs for spring and digging, dividing, and storing dahlia tubers for next year.

Thank you all for making 2026 such a wonderful year of flowers! Every purchase, workshop, share, and kind word means so much to me and this little flower farm.

Taking advantage of this beautiful October weather and offering more wraps.

Many of these won’t be wrapped in paper. Who knew we’d still have flowers this late in the year?! I sure didn’t, and I never ordered more wrapping paper. 🤷‍♀️

I went out to grab a few flowers today and so many looked amazing. Instead of a few flowers… a few buckets came home with me. 😂

The wraps available for the remainder of the season will be full of mostly dahlias and zinnias..and no one is sad about that! 😉

With fewer fillers available as we head toward the end of the season, you can expect lots of those big, colorful blooms we all love so much.

This praying mantis was likely waiting for a pollinator to come along, but it was still pretty cool to find him hanging out in the garden and grab a picture.

Happy October!

After a few years of growing flowers, I’ve realized I have a love for jewel tones. Diva, Ivanetti and Caitlin’s Joy are some of my favorite dahlias, and look at them 😍

The flowers are still producing and beautiful! Who knew we could have locally grown flowers like this into October?!

I’m still dropping off fresh wraps at Cherry Rock Farms and taking orders. Lots of lovely fall colors available as well.

Just take a minute and enjoy this.

The bees buzzing, butterflies floating around, and so much life happening in the garden.

After all the work that goes into growing these flowers, sometimes it’s nice to just stop, listen, and take it all in.

A little end of September garden magic and one of the many reasons I love this little business.

I don’t think I’ve officially introduced him yet...

Meet Tink, the newest member of our family and little helper here.

We adopted him recently from the Rescue Network, and he has adjusted so well. He snuggles with the best of them, follows me everywhere, and loves joining me in the garden. He has a very important job of "chasing" the bugs away.

This rain has been much needed, but I think we’re all ready for a few days of sunshine and drying out.

This past week of nonstop rain and likely the field location has caused widespread fungal disease in my eucalyptus plants. These were planted out in early May and watched all summer long for a September harvest.
And they looked amazing. I was so excited to start offering eucalyptus shower bundles and incorporating it into all of my bouquets this fall.
Unfortunately, this just won’t be the year for that. And I’m honestly pretty bummed. Not only because of all the work that goes into growing these plants, but because I was really looking forward to offering something new to all of you.

But…that’s farming. We learn, we adapt, and we move on. There’s always next year.

I’m hoping I can still forage a few good stems here and there. 🤞🏼

Still can't complain about this rain tho 😆
