It's no longer a boys' club at HHF!

This week Syrah joined the crew to live her best retirement life in big grassy fields with a bunch of geldings telling her how awesome she is. A couple of the boys are a little twiterpaited, but everyone's getting along swimmingly. Thank you Jen for trusting us with the sassy lady!

HHF is delighted to welcome our latest resident, Alfie! Mr. Alfred is a young thoroughbred whoā€™s joining us for some let down time while he matures a little bit now that fall has officially begun. Thank you to Alfieā€™s mom, Emma, for trusting us with caring for her sweet boy. We canā€™t wait to see how he grows into himself over the winter!

Early this morning Aly passed away in her sleep.

She was the goodest of girls. So wicked smart. The best co-pilot, chicken herder, and bona fide farm dog. The biggest personality who loved people (in her mind sheā€™d never met a stranger), barely tolerated other animals, and always knew when one of ā€œhersā€ was where they shouldnā€™t be.

The house is a lot emptier without her here. We love and miss you AlyeskašŸ–¤šŸ¤šŸ–¤
