To celebrate the end of August, we are so excited to release our next New England lager, Echo & Narcissus (4.8% ABV)!

This lager is bursting with notes of pink grapefruit, white wine, bread crust, golden honey, and a light floral finish.

Inspired by our German Helles-style lager, Sappho, we took our helles grain bill and hopped it lightly with our hand-selected lot of Nelson hops in the whirlpool and NZ Cascade hop kief in the lagering tank.

This lager is crisp, crushable, and endlessly drinkable. It is a fantastic addition to our lager lineup!

Echo & Narcissus will be available starting today at 4pm both on-draft and in 4-packs to-go! This batch is limited and sure to move fast!

Double beer release! On this beautiful day we are so excited to introduce Nero: Cookie (Imperial Milk Stout, 9.1% ABV) and Prometheus’ Fire (New Zealand-style Pilsner, 5.7% ABV)!

Nero: Cookie is the next iteration of our imperial milk stout, Nero. Conditioned on heaps and heaps of cacao nibs and vanilla beans, we taste chocolate chunk cookies, s’mores, vanilla gelato, and double chocolate cookies. This is a decadent stout, perfect for summer nights by the campfire!

Next up is Prometheus’ Fire, a New Zealand-style Pilsner. Hopped with Nectaron, Nelson Sauvin, and Motueka hop kief, we taste notes of passion fruit, nectarine, white wine, and lemon/lime. This beer is perfect for accompanying you on all your end of summer activities! If you love IPAs but want a lower abv package and a beer that is crisp and crushable, this is perfect for you!

Nero: Cookie will be available starting at 4pm on-draft and in (limited) 4-packs to-go! Prometheus’ Fire will be available starting today at 4pm in 4-packs to-go only! (Draft to follow next week)

We are so excited to welcome back our oak conditioned helles-style lager, Faustina the Younger, after nearly a 3 year-long hiatus!

For our second batch of Faustina the Younger, we selected a batch of Sappho, our flagship German-style Helles Lager, but this time utilizing a double decoction step instead of a single decoction. After a month of cold conditioning, we transferred it to freshly emptied Pinot Grigio French Oak barrels.

After lagering at 2°C for just over two months in our cooler, it was transferred into one of our lagering tanks where it was slowly and gently carbonated via kräusen. Following several more weeks of conditioning in stainless, the lager emerged softer and brighter than its original version.

This lager is named after Faustina the Younger (130 – 175/6 CE), who was a Roman empress and wife to Marcus Aurelius. The senate awarded her the highest title for a woman in Rome, “Augusta”, due to her virtue as a wife. She also later received the title “Mater Castrorum” or “Mother of the Camp” because she travelled with her husband during his Germanic military campaigns. She was also the mother of the later Roman emperor, Commodus!

It’s been three years since we’ve seen Caesarion, but we are so excited to welcome him back for the second half of the summer!

This version of Caesarion features our mixed culture, bringing a light funk and gentle acidity, which lends to its extreme drinkability in the hot weather! It is lemon candy in a glass!

Caesarion is our Belgian Grisette-style Ale. Crafted with Connecticut malted barley and spelt from Thrall Family Malt in Windsor, CT, Chaos hops from Four Star Farms in Northfield, MA, and our house mixed culture, it is soft, delicate, and extremely drinkable.

Step-mashed and naturally carbonated, we taste notes of candied lemon peel, orange marmalade, freshly baked bread, and a hint of grapefruit.

It is named after Caesarion (47 - 30 BCE), who was the son of Cleopatra and Julius Caesar. He is known for being the last pharaoh of Ptolemaic Egypt and was executed by Octavian, who would later be known as Augustus, Rome‘s first emperor. Caesarion’s name translates to “Little Caesar” in Greek!

On this beautiful summer day, we're excited to introduce our newest milkshake IPA, Sculptura: VII (6.8% ABV)!

Sculptura is our experimental beer series, where our brewers explore new ingredients, techniques, and styles. Every release is unique, whether it's a fresh take on a classic Caius Farm beer or something entirely new.

For Iteration VII, we double dry hopped with a unique blend of Riwaka, Pacific Sunrise CGX, and Peacharine, then conditioned it on heaps of Papua New Guinea vanilla beans. The result is a true hop creamsicle, bursting with juicy tropical fruit, bright citrus, and creamy vanilla. It is the perfect beer for summer.

This milkshake IPA contains zero lactose.

Sculptura: VII is available starting today on draft and in to-go 4-packs.
