For the past few years we’ve had a hawk nest in the tree just above our largest chicken coop. This little fella has been behind our house for a couple of days now, wings not quite working yet. Mom and another little fella are still in and around the nest. Second picture is for reference just how close to our house he/she is, showing the back corner of our house along with the tree limbs it sits on and the tree stump we plan to remove in order to put in our duck pond. Hoping for the best that it finds its wings soon.

New Indian Runner and Welsh Harlequin ducklings, all just over a month old. Added the welsh to the flock last week and the runners are out for the first time today. 5 of the white Pekins will be going to a new home soon. And four, one week old runner ducklings still in the brooder. Just need to get the pond built and reshape the run.
