Last night we got to visit Tom & Ma’s Syrup, and it’s always one of our favorite stops. We love spending time with them, catching up, and seeing all the hard work that goes into what they do.

But what makes it even more special now is watching the kids get so interested in the process—learning how maple syrup is made and all the different pieces that make their business run. It’s pretty cool to see that curiosity growing.

🍁 We started cooking sap on 3/6. As of 3/27, we’re up to 26 barrels of syrup ranging in size from 55 gallons down to 10.
🍁 Last year, we started on 3/14, ended on 4/22, and filled 58 barrels with 2,700 gallons of syrup. There’s no telling how long this season will last.
