Fifteen years ago, today. That’s Hayden helping out ADGA Judge PK (Paul Kempe) at a goat show in Maryland (I think it was Berkeley County fair). Nothing like a good goat show in summer.
We’re still here in Guilford, VT, still raising our herd of Nubian dairy goats. All are healthy and active as with any summer, the does providing us daily for cheese-making, fresh milk for bottles and the leftovers for soaps. The buck and doe kids are running and jumping around the pasture being the typical nuisances.
Though likely taking all of this show season off to focus on my health, it was thrilling live-streaming the American Dairy Goat Association National Show from home, with the AC on of course. We’ll be back out there again soon!
