Good things happening at my little farm. Not a “She Shed” but an Art Barn. For my 50th I got my own space to create, retreat, decompress and make ART!

Black Raven Studio (formerly Raven Hollow Glass) is in the works!

I will be making and selling paintings, stained glass, soaps, needle felt work and other creative inspired goodies.

I’ll be “nesting” for a bit getting all of my supplies together and making this space a cozy little nook.

This is the last day of my 40’s. I remember turning 30 like it was yesterday. Shortly after my metastatic breast cancer diagnosis we moved to this very lovely, very small town called Guilford in Vermont. That was just about 7 years ago. (Cancer diagnosis almost 12 years out).
The people I have met and grown to love so very dearly all have their own special talents. Some are artists, some craftsmen others farmers and gardeners…Each with their own hold on what life means up here. It can be isolating at times (especially in winter). What blossoms from everyone here is the pride they take in whatever it is they love to cultivate.
I love it (and them) so very much.
This is exactly where I should be. Little reminders of the beauty of rural life.

I have a village that is small but fierce!
