Once a small sugar house dating before 1934 to 1978, it then moved to its current location on the farm to expand. In 2009, Jacob Hamilton took over the taps and has been slowly expanding the operation further with help from the entire Hamilton family. In 2012 the sugar house received a face lift and new equipment, highlighted by a new 5’x 14’ arch with a steam hood. Currently running on 1500 taps,

with hopes of more, everything from sap to wood to fuel the arch comes right from Hamilton Farm! Syrup can be purchased at the farm or by contacting us here or Jacob Hamilton personally.
