THANK GOD FOR THESE VETERINARIANS
Last Friday night my older Lab, Seve was suddenly in a medical emergency and things did not look good at all. Saturday she declined heavily and it was looking like there were no other options. That evening we were facing the horrible decision we all dread when the first of a few miracles occurred. I had ran home to get a blanket, to bring her home respectfully, when I returned the doctor said that they had called another Vet in Ensenada who they really respected and based on their recommendation they were going to try one last effort, protocol to see if they could save her. One of them even sacrificed their Mother’s Day to stay with her. Sunday was the longest day ever…
To everyone’s joy and surprise the medication took hold and she survived the weekend!! After a few days she was strong enough to have surgery, and today she is home, resting and recovering!! Relieved and happy to have her home!
8 days in the hospital 😓
Extremely humbled and impressed by these three veterinarians rallying under pressure, and having the wherewithal to call for advice and counsel. One of the reasons she made it!!
For all my friends that enjoy Baja; hunters, fisherman, off-road racers etc….know that there is an excellent clinic, with excellent care in Francisco Zarco in Valle de Guadalupe!!
