The Patch
D & D Berry Farm was started in 2017 as an experiment and a chance for my husband and I to grow something. What started as “just 100” plants expanded into 800+ plants and over 7 varieties of blackberries and 200 raspberries. In the beginning we envisioned friends and family coming out to pick and enjoy the berries but just in our first season we picked over 1,200 lbs and realized this was more than a casual pick. We then came up with the idea to make the patch a UPICK farm. Now, in 2019 we are expanding from our 800+ plants to 1400+ plants. We hope that everyone will come out and enjoy the casual atmosphere and quiet surroundings with their family. But don’t be fooled by your past experiences of picking along fences and ditches. Our farm looks more like a vineyard in its layout. So bring the kids and we will supply the buckets and enjoy some family time. Looking forward to making new friends!
