We're a family farm located in Breckenridge, MI! Our names are John and Emily Crain and while cattle are our main enterprise, we also raise goats, pigs, and one horse named Girl. We love to show off cute cattle pictures and share fun ag facts so you can learn more about where your food comes from! We sell beef and pork by the pound and by the quarter/half. It was about 36 hours from the first cut to the final round with the planter in the rye field!

The rye was mowed, tedded, wind-rowed, chopped, piled and the corn planted into the stubble in about a day and a half! We hire local farmers who have all the equipment needed to do the job quickly so we don't have to maintain everything for one field. Even though some of the rye drowned this year in the torrential rain, we had a good yield for everything that made it! Now to watch the happy little corn plants pop up and start their job! ðŸŒ― 👀

When the smallest farmer asks for a chicken coop, the smallest farmer gets a chicken coop!! 😂.

Our work in progress coop should be ready for baby chickens before we know it! We will be raising some meat chickens and getting a few layers for eggs. Thankfully, we saved most of our chicken stuff and won't have to buy much to get started! Stay tuned for those baby chick pics ðŸ“ļ 😍
