We're a family farm located in Breckenridge, MI! Our names are John and Emily Crain and while cattle are our main enterprise, we also raise goats, pigs, and one horse named Girl. We love to show off cute cattle pictures and share fun ag facts so you can learn more about where your food comes from! We sell beef and pork by the pound and by the quarter/half. If you're interested in meat, send us a PM and we will get back to you as soon as we can. We love answering questions so, if you ever want to learn more about us or agriculture in general don't be afraid to ask!

It is a BEAUTIFUL WEEK to be a sheep!! 😍

We're getting ready to start sending fat lambs and down size for the winter. We'll still keep a few this winter but the big pasture is too hard to feed if we get bad weather.

If you'd be interested in a freezer lamb, let me know and we'll see about getting a group together! Odds are we can get appointments at Bellingars this fall/winter still.

All of the goats came home last week and this is exactly what the barn sounds like every time I go out there 😳🤣😆

We gave the 2950 a big job feeding all the sheep!!! She does a good job though and we couldn't do it without her 💪 We mix the sheep feed ourselves because we can make it cheaper than we can buy it. We do use a sheep specific pellet in it so that they get all the vitamins and nutrients they need

We said goodbye to our last 12 meat goat kids today! They went down to the sale barn where they will go through the ring tomorrow, so wish them luck! And the 79 sheep that also went 🤣🤣 but the goats are much cuter!

He cannot (will not) keep his hooves to himself so I am the recipient to MANY unwanted massages! And, as you can see from his face, he is entirely unapologetic!

Can you guess why it's their fave? 🤣🤣

I have tried to keep them off the ramp with no success so now we just let them go up and down. Thankfully, they seem to have a small sense of self preservation and do not jump from it. Do they fight on it though and give me a heart attack?
