I spent a lot of time in the galley this summer. Cooking in a small space with limited time for some hungry crew makes it easy to see the strengths or weaknesses of a recipe. If I find it fast to prepare, and the crew loves to eat it, then we have a winner.

As we make our way in to the dock for a 5 a.m. offload, one of the dock workers snapped this quick pic for us. After a couple days of rougher weather, we were greeted by a beautiful glass calm morning. The rapid weather changes on the ocean remind me of Colorado, you simply have to be ready for anything!
