Is it considered disrespectful to call them anything different in that area?

Weve been working on the homestead a lot this week thanks to cooler weather. We have started putting in our fall/winter garden, getting huts built or upgraded for all the critters and cleaning up some summer messes. Our last few goats are leaving today to make room for new breeds to come onto the homestead in the near future. So many things changing and happening in preparation for winter and a new season.

Today we had to say goodbye to our clever Miss Sassy. This was very unexpected since she was in great health and a freak accident. We went out to do rounds and make sure everyone was doing okay and had plenty of fresh cold water during the heat. While we were out there, Sassy tried to jump the 4 foot fence, got her foot momentarily caught and landed wrong hitting her head on the ground. She was gone before we ever made it the 50 foot from one pen to the other. Rest in peace Sassy!

Plants are going into the garden finally! I've been ready to plant since February and the weather just wouldn't cooperate with me. šŸ¤£ We have a huge variety going in! It's going to be a great year!
