No one knows what the beef future holds, but one thing remains the same. No matter the price per pound, more pounds equals more return. We have an outstanding group of young bulls from some of the top genetics in the breed. These boys will add pounds to their calves. They are thick with great dispositions. Contact us for your new here sire needs.
Our Farm is beautiful!

What a great weekend at the Alabama Junior Beef Expo. First , thank you to a lot of friends that helped us handle, show and just get this group moved around. We had several class winners and we watched CCC Whiskey Girl close out her show career as the Champion Charolais. Not our best picture, but it tells the story. Whiskey has been a great heifer, always easy to handle and has really done well for the boys. And she is raising a really good calf.
Great day at the North Alabama Junior Expo today. Reserve Champion market heifer with CCC Minnie Mouse. Champion and Reserve Champion Charolais with CCC Whiskey Girl and her calf and CCC Sassy Kat. Champion Charolais influenced with CCC Cooper Penny and her calf. Champion Maintainer with CCC Dream Maker. And as we watched for the slap in the Supreme Heifer drive, Whiskey Girl and her calf took third overall. Great day and thanks to all those who helped get the calves shown today with one of our showers being on injured reserve still.
A great way to start a day. Blue sky, fall colors and a new calf from a heifer. And the calf is a heifer too.

Drizzly, rainy day gives us a good opportunity to work on a under the shed project. Finished product pictures coming soon.
The 4H Chick Chain. Young people sign up each year to receive 10 day old chicks. There is usually 4 or 5 breeds to choose from. These young people raise these chicks and keep good records of all they do to raise these chicks. They come together in September with the best two pullets from their flock. They are judged just like any other livestock show including showmanship. This year 50 young people started this project. Today was the show. Congratulations to Austin with a second place in showmanship, Champion Buff Orpington, and Reserve Champion over the whole show. We are also very proud of Nathan and his breed Champion Black Astralorp. A special thanks to our Extension Agents and the countless hours they put in to help shape these young people into young adults.
Yes she is a little faded, and if you look close you may see a frayed string or two. But make no mistake, this flag is just as strong today as she was 15 years ago when were ALL part of the UNITED STATES. It is time to unite again. The same enemy that brought us together then, is still an enemy today. God bless America.
A special Thank you to all those who worked countless hours over the last year preparing for this years Charolais Junior Nationals. It was a great week. The kids and adults enjoyed the week.
