🐝 **Introducing Hawgwild Honeycomb Edition!** 🍯
Sometimes the bees create something completely unexpected.
Most of our hives use plastic foundation, so we don't normally produce large pieces of natural honeycomb. But every now and then, the bees find a little extra space inside the hive and decide to build what beekeepers affectionately call **"wonky comb."** Instead of following the foundation, they create beautiful free-form comb wherever they think it belongs.
Rather than letting that amazing work go to waste, we've carefully harvested those unique pieces and paired them with our **raw Texas wildflower honey**.
One of the most incredible facts about honeycomb is the effort it takes to create. Honey bees consume **about 6–8 pounds of honey to produce just 1 pound of beeswax**. That's roughly **6–8 ounces of honey to make a single ounce of wax!** Every cell is built one tiny wax scale at a time by thousands of hardworking bees.
🍯 The honeycomb is **100% edible**.
🐝 Enjoy it on warm biscuits, toast, charcuterie boards, yogurt, or straight from the spoon.
🌼 Every jar is different because every piece of "wonky comb" was built naturally by the bees.
These aren't mass-produced honeycomb jars—they're a celebration of the bees doing what bees do best. Because this comb is only created when the bees decide to use extra space in the hive, **our Honeycomb Edition is truly a limited harvest.**
💲**Available now for $20 per jar** (approximately 11 oz of raw honey with a generous piece of edible honeycomb).
If you've never tried honeycomb before, this is the perfect opportunity to experience honey exactly as it comes from the hive.
