Myrtle's Happy Farm We’re a local family farm in Brentwood. We have chickens, ducks, goats, horses, a pony and a donkey that are all rescues. We sell fresh chicken eggs and honey.

Our barnyard enrichment program is wrapping up for spring. There’s a few spots left for tomorrow’s class and next week! This week we’re talking about corn 🌽 Painted with corn, it’s a great hands on activity. We cut some apples which were enjoyed and then feed to the chickens. We finished off with a cute bird house that kids and parents built.

I have loved doing the classes! Definitely more rewarding than a had ever expected!!! It’s incredible watching the shy reserved kids change and become confident ✨ I’ve gotten to know some of the kids quite well and love the hugs I get from all my farm friends 🥰

Next week we will be doing the favorite of all the classes, Ponies & Parfaits ❤️
Classes : Tuesday or Thursday 9:30-11am $25 a class. Ages 3-12

Here’s the next playdates on the farm! Summer break is here✨come meet the rescued animals, cuddle baby chicks or chase bubbles. Water tables and splash pad will be out!!

Time change- weekdays will start at 9:30am and ending same time of 11:30am. This will help with the heat!!

You’ve asked and we’ve added a weekend playdate on Sunday June 14th 10-12noon. Train ride $5, available only on the weekends. Weekends $7 per adult and kids, under 2 are free. Weekdays are still $5 adults and kids, under 2 are free. No reservations needed, just show up!

New shade ✨This new massive shade will help keep us a little cooler this time of year. We’ve been adding shade over the last 4 years but we needed more. We have several umbrellas but with our wind we can only use them sometimes. Thanks to my husband’s brilliant idea, we were able to add a large shade for a fraction of the cost of any other shade structures.

Another great day on the farm! It’s been a record year of chicks born on the farm. We have 4 hens that just keep hatching eggs. Today we collected 3 baby chicks, total of 73 so far 🐥

Meet the newest members of Myrtle’s Happy Farm! 🐴🤍

We recently adopted two mini horses from a local rescue in Walnut Creek. The tiny one had a shoulder injury that needed time to heal, he’s 16. The black and white one is 4 and had terrible confirmation that took months special trims. He’s partially blind but gets around great. Because there’s amazing rescues like angels for minis these 2 got a second chance in life❤️

We are so excited to welcome them to the farm family! These sweet little mini horses are settling in, making new animal friends, and already stealing hearts.

We’re grateful we could give these minis a forever home where they’ll be loved by our community and all the children who visit the farm.

Be sure to say hello next time you visit! We can’t wait for everyone to meet them❤️
