Y’all, we are seriously so thankful for this little hole in the wall restaurant. ❤️

The Lord truly laid this place right in our lap at the perfect time, and we could not feel more blessed that they hired Jacob. Everybody there has been so kind and welcoming already, and the atmosphere is just night and day different from his previous restaurant. It honestly feels so good knowing he’s walking into a place that already feels healthier and happier.

I’m really praying this is somewhere he can grow and be apart of for many years. We are just super thankful for this opportunity and for the people there already loving on our family so well. 🫶

Y’all go check it out!! ☀️

There are moments in life when God sends warnings—not to condemn us, but to save us. Through His Word, through people, through quiet convictions in our hearts, He reaches out again and again. But sometimes, we harden our hearts and say, “Don’t judge me,” not realizing that correction is often an expression of love, not hate.
The truth is, not every warning is an attack. Some are acts of mercy. God does not delight in punishment—He desires repentance, restoration, and life. He warns because He sees what we cannot. He knows where certain paths lead, even when they seem right in our own eyes.
Ignoring His voice doesn’t silence the truth—it only delays the consequence. And when reality catches up, the pain we face is often the very thing we were lovingly warned about.
The Bible reminds us: “Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.” (Proverbs 11:14)
Correction is not rejection. It is direction. It is protection. It is God saying, “Come back before it’s too late.”
So today, instead of resisting every voice that challenges you, ask yourself: Is this God trying to reach me?
Because one day, the words “We tried to warn you” will either be a painful memory… or a testimony of how you chose to listen, repent, and be saved.
Choose humility. Choose wisdom. Choose God.

Friends and family,

Jacob has made the very difficult decision to step away from a job that has become unhealthy and draining. This was not taken lightly, but made with counsel and much prayer. We are now seeking the Lord’s direction for what comes next.

We are praying about two paths—either finding new work in his field of cooking, or stepping fully into deputation again for the burden God has placed on our hearts.

Right now, we are walking by faith as we have very limited financial support, with only one church currently partnering with us.

If you would, please pray with us for wisdom, provision, and clear direction in this season. We truly want to serve the Lord with everything we have.

We also want to mention that some of you have already heard this first-hand, while others are reading it here for the first time. We love so many people and it became very difficult to keep track of who had been told. Please do not be offended if you are learning this through this post—we truly mean no hurt or anything unkind in that at all.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer. 🙏

Psalms 33:8-9
8 Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitations of the world stand in awe of him.
9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

I Peter 2:24-25
24 who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

Psalms 30:5
For his anger endurance, but a moment; in his favor is life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
