Words are hard to express how much I feel towards Rick & Ingrid. For the last two years knowing them, they have always supported me, and my family.

I still remember the first day I came over with the kids to drop off a sample plate of my pastries. He was so kind, and gave me my first opportunity to sell my pastries. He didn’t even charge me the first two weeks for my table. The rest was history, and I owe them so much for this opportunity.

Having my kids with me the first month selling at the European Market was challenging, but Ingrid would help me with kids while I talked to customer. They even saved my daughter’s bear, and kept it safe until we returned the next week.

I will miss Rick’s advice, and discussions about family, and business. I will miss Ingrid’s sweet good mornings, and Rick’s traditional good morning, and handshake.

For the last 30 years the Bangor's European Market is a staple for the Bangor community. They have supported so many small businesses that has come, and go. I have talked to many business owners, and they told me that The European Market gave them there first opportunity.

I am so great-full in meeting Rick & Ingrid, and I appreciate all their hard work in setting up those Saturdays.

I raise my glass of Horchata, and say Cheers to your retirement, but our friendship will be forever.
