Anyone free on Wednesday afternoons? Second Chance Foods, Inc. is looking for a volunteer to drive food scraps from their kitchen in Brewster Village to our farm. You get to see us as a bonus! 😜

At Second Chance Foods, our compost has a second life! Food scraps from meal preparation, along with donated food that isn’t suitable for distribution, go to Lobster Hill Farm in Brewster to help feed their animals. 🐷🐔
We’re looking for a volunteer for Wednesday afternoon to transport the compost to the farm and return the empty buckets to us. Contact [email protected] if you’re interested!

Okay, I wasn’t kidding about the egg problem. 😂🥚

I have A LOT of eggs.

Like… enough eggs that I am officially asking for your help.

So for this week only, we’re having an EGG EMERGENCY SPECIAL:

🥚 Cartoned eggs: Buy 5 dozen, get 1 dozen FREE

🥚 Uncartoned eggs: Bring your own carton (or a way to safely get them home) and I’ll take $2 OFF PER DOZEN.

And yes, I am absolutely encouraging you to buy a ridiculous number of eggs. 😂

Make quiche.
Bake something.
Make breakfast for the entire neighborhood.
Fill your fridge.
Give some to your mom.

I don’t care. Just please come get some eggs. 😂

Not every event is for every person. And that’s okay. 😂

Apparently we need to clarify something:

Smoke & Embers is a farm dinner.
It is not a wellness retreat.
It is not a “healthy lifestyle” seminar.
And it certainly isn’t a requirement that every person who likes our farm has to like every single thing we do.

We raise animals. We grow food. We cook over fire. We invite people to sit around a table, eat an incredible meal, have a couple drinks, and yes for this particular event, enjoy a hand-rolled cigar if they choose to.

The cigar isn’t a secret.
It isn’t being slipped into anyone’s dinner.
And nobody is being forced to participate. 😂

You are absolutely allowed to decide that isn’t your thing.

And we’re absolutely allowed to say…

You shouldn’t have wasted your time texting us. We weren’t looking for your approval anyway. 😉🔥

There are plenty of places that will be a better fit for you.

We’ll be over here enjoying our farm, our food, our guests, and our ci**rs.
