R.I.P. Shirley Raines 🕊️

Shirley “Ms. Shirley" Raines was an American activist and community leader best known for her efforts to help unhoused people in Los Angeles. She founded Beauty 2 The Streetz, an organization dedicated to providing resources, dignity, and care to people living on Skid Row, including food, hygiene products, clothing, and hope.
Through her work, Ms. Shirley became a beloved figure on social media and in her community, inspiring countless people with her compassion, tireless dedication, and advocacy for some of society’s most vulnerable. Her voice and presence became synonymous with kindness and relentless service.
Shirley Raines passed away in January 2026 at the age of 58.
Her legacy of love, generosity, and service will continue to be remembered by those she helped and those she inspired.
