The purpose of this position is to participate in inventory control activities, labeling, placing materials and supplies in stock. Locates materials by pulling and verifying materials for production orders and finished goods for shipment. Will follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is efficient and safe.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs all work, in a timely and safe manner, as assigned by production supervisor(s).
• Must understand and comply with all quality procedures and standard work instructions.
• Must adhere to good housekeeping expectations and follow all GMP procedures
• Notifies supervisor(s) of any potentially unsafe and harmful issues.
• Prepares all orders and pick products per pick lists
• Verifies and re-verifies orders
• Loads trucks after quality checks have been made
• Receipt of products, monitors and verifies defined criteria
• Stores and organizes ingredients
• Inventory participation
• Prepares FedEx shipments
• Responsible for the organization, safety, and cleanliness of storage facility
• Required to work on scheduled inventories (month end, quarterly and/or year-end)
• Use and understand spec sheets as per Receiving documentation
• Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Industry experience preferred, but not required

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work in a team and achieve production goals
• Ability to lift heavy objects, to bend, and to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Basic Math and English skills are preferred.
• Ability to interact and communicate with employees, supervisors, etc.
• Attention to detail. Ability to work independently juggling multiple tasks
• Bi-lingual: English and Spanish, preferred
• Forklift experience and certification, desirable

Create batches based on production schedule
Print batch tickets
Gather and organize production documents, check production records to guarantee the accuracy of the data including traceability
Request missing documents and/or information from the production team
Collect and compile data into an Excel spreadsheet
Verify accuracy of calculation
Submit production results report to the Production Manager
Close batches on the ERP using the Excel spreadsheet
Identify issues while closing batches (wrong ingredient(s), low stocks, expired ingredients) and communicate with management
Request, track and monitor cycle counts; inform management in the event of discrepancies
Participate in the monthly physical count – close batches, counts, and input data
Track and monitor fillings that were over-produced and frozen; ensure use for next production batch and that traceability is accurate
Process special inventory transactions (baking, test, inventory adjustments)
Organize, monitor, and record New Hire Training (Buddy System)
Member of the GMP training team
Organize, record, and follow-up on training documents for production employees
Print and laminate name tags
Archive production documents with a monthly rotation system
Print special labels for specific customers
Help production team with different projects; as assigned

Qualifications
High School Diploma
Must be able to communicate with supervisors and co-workers clearly and professionally in English and Spanish; bilingual English and Spanish skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
High School level Math, English reading and writing skills required
Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to endure a cold, freezer environment
Available to work overtime, when needed
Available to work the last Saturday of each month for inventory count
Strong attention to detail
Food industry experience helpful; not necessary

Lecoq Cuisine is preparing for a period of significant growth and has open positions on all shifts for Machine Operators / Production Workers. These Production Worker / Operator roles will be working in our manufacturing facility in one of several manufacturing stations. The positions will be handling food ingredients and finished goods throughout our manufacturing process including mixing, folding, shaping, and packaging.

Machine Operators / Production Workers will require manual dexterity, ability to stand for long periods of time, attention to detail, and ability to read and follow directions.

Prior food handling experience or manufacturing experience as a Machine Operator or Production Worker desired but not required. Training is provided.
