Hey there! 👋 It’s been a minute since I’ve done a formal introduction, and with new friends joining our community lately, I wanted to say hello!

I’m Megan, the owner and baker behind Sweet Events. Before my days in the bakery, I was a middle school math and reading teacher right here in the area!

When I’m not whipping up desserts or sugar cookie sets for classes, you can usually find me:

📚 On the edge of my seat reading a thriller

🐶🐈 Loving on my cats or walking my dogs (yes, we have dogs again!)

📺 Watching a good rom-com, comedy, or action movie

Round 1 was so much fun, we’re doing it again! 🥳
