We would like to share a personal update and ask for a little extra patience and understanding from our wonderful customers.
The past two weeks have been incredibly difficult for our family. Shane has undergone two brain surgeries, and much of our time, energy, and attention has understandably been focused on getting him through these procedures and being by his side. It has been an overwhelming and frightening time filled with long days, sleepless nights, stress, and uncertainty.
During all of this, our amazing crew has continued working hard to keep things running in the processing shop. We cannot begin to express how thankful we are for each of them and everything they have done to support our family, our business, and our customers. They have stepped up in countless ways and continued putting care and pride into providing our customers with the best processed beef, pork, and lamb possible. Their dedication, hard work, and willingness to carry an extra load during such a difficult time have meant more to us than words can say.
Even with our crew’s tremendous efforts, this unexpected family medical emergency has caused our facility to fall a little behind, and I have accumulated a significant backlog of phone calls, messages, paperwork, and other office responsibilities. Please know that we are not ignoring anyone, and we have not forgotten about you. I am doing my very best to work through everything as quickly as I can while continuing to care for Shane and our family.
If you have already left a message, there is no need to leave another one. I will be in touch as soon as possible. We sincerely appreciate your grace and patience as we work to catch up and return to our normal routine.
To everyone who has offered prayers, kind words, encouragement, and support—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. During an experience like this, you quickly realize how much the compassion of others truly matters.
We are deeply grateful for your patience, understanding, and continued loyalty to Carbon County Meats. We know you trust us with something important, and we never take that trust for granted. Thank you for standing by our family, our crew, and our business during one of the most challenging times we have faced.
