So today the craziest thing happened that reminded me and a lot of other families just how ornery toddlers can be. This little man and I rode the elevator down ( he was already on his way to the next floor when I got on to go down and get coffee). He grabbed my hand and we got to hang out for a little while, because the little turkey escaped his families hotel room (reminding me how important it is to keep those extra locks on to keep kiddos in!).

He got some hot-coco, snacks with the fam, and we played with the elevator and ice machine, he is one of the happiest, carefree toddlers i've been around and even was able to pick out his daddy's pickup to help us (and he reminded me why I love my big kids - toddler motherhood is not for the weak!). Mom came down frantic when she realized he had escaped and I can only imagine her panic. Luckily the kid ran into the Kougl kids and had a blast making new friends. Poor mama did not think he was near as cute as I did!

Thanks to the in Helena () for allowing us to keep this little dude company (he was pretty glued to me by the end of the playdate) and making sure he was safe and Mom got tracked down. Pretty difficult when the kiddo didn't have a lot of words (I mean he could totally hold a conversation but i had no idea what he was saying!).

So to remind all of us how smart and sneaky kiddos can be, lock those extra locks not just to keep people out, but to keep kiddos in! Its not something I would have ever thought that would happen but turns out its happen to several of our family friends! Oh kids, you never know the heart dropping situations they will put you and themselves in! ❤️
