The crazy wild cow is heading to her date at the processor today. She had me running for the fence 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 this morning….really settled down after months of hand feeding 🤦🏻‍♀️

We lost our top ranch mare today that will be irreplaceable for us. Not only did she teach all of us a thing or two most importantly, she grew up right alongside my kids them teaching her and her teaching them. She was in her early teens and for some reason today was her day to join Quinn in heaven.

We sent her on her way with her favorite halter a rope that she’d tied onto more calves than I can count a busch light and a bapple because she was one of our best trail riding/beer drinking/working horses.

The kids rode her around yesterday in the corrals, no halter, full of love and having a great time and she was in great condition so who knows why but we are having a hard hard beginning to June with her not in the herd anymore. I’m so thankful I went and brought her home two days ago so she could be cuddled and loved instead of just out on the open pasture. 

Really makes me sad that we sold her last baby but I know that that little filly will go on to do great things.
