Our client reached out to us with a leak in their yard around the well head. We discovered that an internal leak in the pitless adapter had occurred and washed out the inside of the adapter and caused the external portion of the adapter to leak as well. We brought out our hydrovac unit and exposed the pitless adapter. We replaced the pitless and reassembled everything. The use of the hydrovac greatly reduced the damage to the client's landscape and made only a minimal disruption with no uneven piles of dirt or low spots left behind, as well as keeping mud that inevitably is produced with a leak of this nature to an absolute minimum. 6099722371

Our client called looking to move some slab piping around for their bathroom remodel. We marked out the new fixture locations and got to work saw cutting the slab and jackhammering out the concrete. We removed the existing piping and installed it in the new locations specified by our client. Our commercial client called us wanting to convert their rainwater collection and pumping system from a single throw switch to an automatic simplex system with floats so that it will operate automatically without needing someone standing by to operate it as it fills up. We supplied and installed an SJE Rhombus simplex panel complete with floats to control the existing 3 hp 480v 3 phase pump. This was a great upgrade ahead of the prediction of upcoming bad weather over the next 7 days.

Fall is officially here, and with the weather starting to change, now is a good time to make sure your plumbing, well, and water treatment systems are ready for the colder months ahead.

This is the time of year to change filters, check water softener salt levels, inspect for leaks or changes in water pressure, and make sure outside faucets and hoses are taken care of before freezing temperatures arrive. Our commercial client called us with a dead lift station pump, which was also seized to the rails. We supplied a new rail kit, and installed the customer's new macerator pump. We modified the discharge line as needed to accommodate the new rail system, and in a matter of a few hours we had their duplex system operating as designed. This has been a crazy week so far, and we're running full tilt. We were called by a farm over the weekend with no water, and found a dead 15 HP submersible pump which could be catastrophic for the owners because the pump supplies an irrigation pond that the farm depends on to irrigate their 250 plus acres. We jumped into action immediately and replaced the burnt pump as well as the power cable and 3" galvanized steel drop line. We got the water back on just in time as the pond was almost dried up. We also were called upon by our home town municipal building for a no water call, only to find that the pump, power supply, and drop line broke off the pitless adapter and was sitting on the bottom of the well. We were able to retrieve the entire assembly with a retrieval tool and replace the damaged 3 hp pump along with the drop line and control box, just in time for a very important referendum vote.
