Another beautiful calf born this May. Looks like the mom was a high percentage Devon breed with some herford genes because of the white face. Our Pure Devon bulls were able to remove the last remaining herford genes making a very close to pure Devon calf. Herford is a great breed too though we just prefer Devons.

Just hit 1000 followers 👍Here's a look at yesterday's cattle move. We're making the paddocks a lot bigger since the grass is growing much faster now. You can control the height of the pasture by how much grass you give the cows at a time.

The area to the right of the green pasture was just 1 day of grazing plus 1 bale of hay. The pasture is starting to get taller now so we'll start making the paddocks bigger so the cows don't take the grass down so low. Tons of clover this spring which gives the cows extra protein.
