Miss Pecky Becky is all settled in and adjusting great to farm life 🌱 the first few days she was very defensive and on edge around the other chickens, trying to attack them before they got close out of fear. It only took a few days to figure out that she has plenty to space for herself, lots of bugs and things to scratch on, and no shortage of snacks around here! It brings me so much joy to watch how quickly animals blossom with s bit of TLC and time. Now she just needs to grow back her feathers!! 🪶🪶

This poor girl was the only survivor of a a flock that was picked off by predators, and as a result was beat up pretty badly by the ducks she lived with and needed a new home. She has come to Amore Farm to start the next chapter in her life! With some tlc she will grow her feathers back and start thriving.
