Sweet corn is my wifes passion… and when we say passion i mean, if people knew the lengths she goes you may wonder if she lost her minds. From the time she sows the first seed in early spring till the first frost as we head into fall. Her life revolves around sweet corn. We enjoy trying many different varieties testing each run for quality and unmatched flavors. She spares no expense when it comes to raising the perfect crop and hand picking ensures a masterful harvest. She checks her fields nearly everyday as our crops mature, tending to the needs of each run throughout its cycle. Many people grow sweet corn but some of us dedicate our lives to it, always improving and always learning. Although there is a mainstay variety she plants and test varieties most people have never heard of, and evolving different methods in growing, always searching for the sweetest most refreshing bite. She doesn’t buy corn in and it’s picked fresh every day, so you can be rest assured that it was grown by the very farm you bought it. She isnt selfish and enjoys patronizing other farms for all the wonderful things Wisconsin farms have to offer. And if you have never tried her sweet corn we hope you get a chance.
