​I had the absolute pleasure of pulling together this elegant dessert spread recently, and I just had to share how beautifully it all turned out! A lot of you know me for the artisan sweets that come out of my kitchen, but today I wanted to introduce you to the other maker in our household! We are a full family of crafters around here.

While I'm working with royal icing, dad is out creating custom woodwork. He’s a professional carpenter who does it all—from decks and fencing to beautiful indoor flooring!

​Take a look at one of his latest masterpieces. He built this gorgeous, custom decorative bridge to serve as a stunning accent piece over a client’s landscaped rock river. I think it looks absolutely perfect in their beautiful yard (and we even had a tiny helper test it out! 🥰).

It turns out that whether it’s custom desserts or custom woodworking, attention to detail runs in the family. 🏡❤️

Bringing the garden indoors today! 🐦🌷

​There's something so magical about watching a springtime scene come together on the baking sheet. While making these, I kept picturing these little round birds chirping from the treetops, trying to keep up with the busy hummingbirds and fluttering butterflies darting between the daisies and daffodils.

Hand-piping all these tiny details—from the textured feathers to the delicate flower petals—is such a labor of love. I'm just stopping by your feed to share a little bit of sunny, edible springtime joy! 🌸
