We sell all natural meats as well as purebred registered Highland cattle and several poultry breeds. We moved to Brighton back in 2002 and started raising Purebred Highland Cattle as a hobby. We were attracted to the breed because of their beauty. We raise them because of their lean, healthy quality beef. We were blessed with an abundance of bulls which put us in the beef business whether we wante

d to be or not! We are a small family owned operation. We believe in raising our cattle in only a natural way and providing a quality healthy product. We grow our own hay and only buy premium grain for finishing our cattle. Our beef is considered grass fed and grain finished. We show our cattle at the National Western Stock Show in January and Boulder County Fair in August. We just added heritage Large Black Hogs to our farm. They are an old breed with an old world flavor of pork. We believe in preserving the old breeds so that everyone can enjoy them in the future!

Mountain States Highland Cattle Association is hosting a jackpot and taco potluck tomorrow!! June 27th, 9 am.

This year’s MSHCA Jackpot & Taco Potluck is Saturday, June 27th, 9 am. Come and show your animals in a fun, no pressure show or attend to just socialize with some of the best Highland Breeders!! Hosted again this year by the Graham family, 1397 Santa Fe Trail, Elizabeth, CO 80107.

9am is Junior's Clinic - Junior Committee Chair, Rory Baxter

Rory will be hosting a Junior Herdsman Competition Clinic!

10am Jackpot Show - Jackpot entries $10

Taco Potluck immediately following (around 12 noon) - meat will be provided bring your favorite side dish or dessert.

We will also be answering questions about the MSHCA Annual Show at the Elbert County Fair in Kiowa, CO July 25th, members can also renew their memberships at the potluck or go online before the Jackpot.
