A special cause behind our adjusted hours this weekend. 🫶

Back in February, the Earl Farm Foundation supported our Slice Out Hunger efforts by donating ground beef, helping us reach our overall total of more than 1,000 meals delivered to Bountiful Harvest Inc .

This weekend, we’re proud to return that support at their “Phantom of the Farm” event! We’ll be serving up pies from the Captain’s Wööd Fired Pies food truck while helping raise funds to fight food insecurity right here in Livingston County.

ADJUSTED HOURS THIS WEEKEND:
Saturday, October 17: Closing at 3 PM
Sunday, October 18: CLOSED

Thank you for understanding our change in hours this weekend as we take part in a special event supporting the fight against food insecurity in our community!

The power of collaboration, creativity, hard work, and support between local businesses is what brings the “small-town charm” of Destination Starz Hollow to life.

We have to give a HUGE shoutout to a local staple, Spicer Orchards Farm Market, for helping bring our dreamt up SOOKIE’S C***R to life!

MANY DOZENS of donuts, MANY GALLONS of c***r, and 5 deliveries throughout the weekend, we truly don’t know who else could have kept up with the demand like they did.

Their service, flexibility, and professionalism were absolutely outstanding and we can’t thank their team enough for being such an incredible partner. We hope this is a collaboration that sticks around for years to come.

Go visit Spicer Orchards this fall, soak up all the fall vibes, and tell them the Captain sent you!

We truly cannot make this up. Our POWER IS CURRENTLY OUT again. The outage began TODAY, Wednesday, September 9 at around 5:15 AM.

The current estimated restoration is today,
September 9, between 5:50 AM-1:50 PM.

After spending the entire day yesterday receiving fresh food orders, fully restocking our fridges, prepping, cleaning and getting Captain’s ready to FINALLY reopen today, waking up to another power outage is beyond frustrating. Whether it comes back on soon or not, the damage and disruption of going through this AGAIN is quite the setback.

We're assessing the situation now and will keep you updated on whether we're able to open at any point today.

From 60+ hours without power to frolicking around the Michigan Renaissance Festival . It was a well earned day of shenanigans. HUZZAH TO THE CAPTAIN’S CREW!

And can you believe it?? Somehow, in the middle of a nearly 66 HOUR long power outage, losing our refrigerated inventory, and heading to a private event space that was ALSO without power… we still managed to pull off our scheduled Captain’s food truck event tonight! 🚚🍕

When you book a private Captain’s food truck event, please know, we will do everything in our power (even when we literally have none 😅) to make it happen, no matter what gets thrown our way.

And a HUGE thank you to our crew for rolling with absolutely everything that came our way and helping us make it happen. We couldn’t have pulled this one off without you guys.

Another little bright spot in an otherwise pretty powerless few days. 💛
