Bittersweet Turf Farms, located in Roggen, Colorado, is family owned and operated and has been in business for 30 years (25 employees). We have surrounded ourselves with an incredible team of individuals that are hardworking, willing to learn, trustworthy and motivated. We are looking for a new member to join our team in our integrated office. The office is lowkey, as only four people work out of it, but has a heavy workload with many moving parts. We offer a friendly team-oriented environment, while working with other members in our other satellite offices.
We are needing an experienced Office Assistant who is exceptional at multi-tasking, extremely organized, has good customer service skills, quick to train, detail-oriented and eager to learn. Also, someone with a professional attitude, strong work ethic, very dependable and trustworthy. We work and function as a team and this roll will give you an opportunity to learn a new industry with an award-winning and reputable company.
The job position would be full time, Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
****Job Description****
• Greet Customers as they enter the office.
• Answer phones, as needed.
• File paperwork and make files.
• Scan and email documents.
• Make daily trips to the post office to pickup and drop off mail. (We are 3 miles away)
• Assist with Orders.
-All training is provided.
-Answer phones, assist with placing basic orders, create invoices, arrange schedule (June-January)
-Post advertising to social media
• Assist with Accounts Payable.
-All training is provided.
-Entering employee credit card expense forms into Quickbooks and filed accordingly.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable.
-All training is provided.
-Making deposits for checks and credit cards, reconciling credit card batches and other received payments. File accordingly (5-10 daily)
-Review A/R aging reports and give to management (weekly)
• Assist with insurances.
-All training is provided.
• Willing to assist with other tasks within the office.
****Successful Candidates Have:****
• Genuine, upbeat personality who is highly detailed and organized. Someone who is easy-going with strong customer service skills, reliable and a quick learner. Also, a dog lover!
• An Associate’s Degree, or Business Degree is preferred, but not required.
• 2 years of office experience is preferred, but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, math skills and multi-tasking.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
• Experience with Quickbooks Enterprise is preferred.
*Schedule: Full time. Monday through Friday 8:00-4:00pm* (can be flexible)
-$15.00 to $20.00 per hour (depending on skills)
