Auld Oaks Farm

We are an ADGA and AGS dual registered dairy goat herd in North Central Virginia. Raising Nigerian Dwarf, Oberhasli, and Toggenberg dairy goats.

We handcraft and sell natural goat milk soap. Auld Oaks is a small, family run farm in Brightwood, VA. We raise chickens, 4-H market animals, and an ADGA and AGS dual registered dairy goat herd. Our goal is to breed Nigerian Dwarf, Oberhasli, and Toggenburg dairy goats that are strong in the show ring and on the milking stand, but also gentle, wonderful additions to any backyard homestead. Our herd started because we enjoyed these lovable animals and to provide an excellent source of fresh dairy products for our family. We want to help others do the same. We are thrilled to bring you quality goat milk soap that is made right here on our farm. We strive to source quality, natural ingredients, and use essential oils for our scents in all of our soaps.

2026 State Fair of Virginia was a fun, successful weekend. All of our does did well. Once again, though, our Jr Ober Doe, Meadow, showed up and knocked it out of the park: Grand Champion Jr AOP Doe.

All the animals got extra, fluffy, fresh bedding today. Feed supply was topped off, and extra hay bales will get stacked in the feed zone tomorrow. We are ready for this cold blast...and then kidding season begins! ☃️

Beautiful, warm days in January means extra sunbathing by the herd, and barn clean out for the humans. ☀️

First snow of the season! ☃️ Only the Boys were willing to brave the "scary white stuff". I also suspect it was our new boy from New York who convinced them that it wasn't "that bad." ☃️
