Another wild weather week in Wisconsin! If you told me this summer we'd be pulling dump carts all fall I wouldve laughed, but here we are 😅. We were able to sneak in some tanking early in the week before the monsoons hit again. With all the rain, we promptly switched from tankers to dump carts and headed down to Newton to help Midlakes and Ledgeview get corn silage out of the fields. Our pack tractors continue rolling on as well, 2 in Menchalville and 1 in Chilton.

A day late on our weekly update, but here we are 😅. Last week was a crazy busy week of forage and a true testament to our amazing staff! The rain early on quickly turned our week into 4 tractors pulling dump carts on top of silage packing and hay making we already had planned. With field conditions changing daily, so were our plans. I cannot thank my staff enough for the early mornings, late nights and constantly adapting to new plans to keep our customers happy! With all of our tractors rolling we even had to rent a Massey Ferguson for our rake!

This week kicked off doing our final clean out at the Manitowoc County Fair followed by a manure pit closing in Hilbert. One pack kept busy in Chilton. Over 6" of rain mid week abruptly turned field work into shop work. We were able to put a new hood on our 8420 and catch up on some other projects to hit the ground running next week!

Another busy week for the Nate Farms crew! Between top spreading alfalfa and injecting wheat ground the tanker crew moved some serious gallons again this week! Our Artex spent the week at the Manitowoc County Fair while our H&S box spreaders spent a day closing in a manure pit. The triple mower and baler stayed busy with 3rd crop alfalfa plus 1st and 2nd crop marsh grass from Collins ---> Mackville. 1 pack tractor spent a day in Menchalville packing 3rd crop. We finished off the week adding weight to 1 of our 4 pack tractors in preparation for corn silage season. Hats off to the boys for running hard this week to beat the "rain" on Saturday!

With this dry weather our crews have continued to keep the hammer down! This week was unusually local with just about all of our manure spreaders and hay equipment running in the Brillion area. Other than one box spreader spending a day in New Franken and a trip to Pardeeville, WI to pick up a 4th Silage blade for the fleet.
