Wood Chips - we have a huge area that is easily accessible for a drop. All we ask is that it is free of trash debris (last drop was riddled with a plastic safety fence that went through the chipper) & minimum bittersweet. If you’re a tree company looking to get ride of chips for free, please reach out! We are 100% OUT of chips and really in need.

Cardboard Boxes - can be any size but must be just brown corrugated cardboard boxes with minimal colored ink printing & without the glossy coating or plastic. We will take off any tapes & stickers or remove large staples ourselves. Moving or amazon boxes are ideal. Willing to pick up large quantities locally, especially from any business, but drop off preferred. This is a great way to keep your recycling bins freed up & we’re setting up a spot by the roadside for contactless drop off.

1/8” Hardware Cloth - galvanized steel only (not fiberglass mesh). Looking for a small length of 2’ to 4’ square for compost sifting purposes.

I’ve been harvesting crab apples little by little from a VERY tall & inconveniently located tree on our property. No real intentions on what to do with them other than tart little snacks here and there. So yesterday I made apple bread, gluten free & vegan so my wife could have it too, but couldn’t find the loaf pan & instead use some muffin tins (how does one lose a loaf pan?!).

We’re likely going to mix some into our cider, pie mix, & apple sauce this year too since we want to utilize the abundance of these little fruits. Until then, we cored them (cut in half & use a tomato corer, it’s easier…) & tossed them in the freezer. 🍎

Wow. What a huge thank you to everyone who purchased from us this week. You helped us sell completely out of our own naturally grown Garlic & almost all of what Twin Pines Farm , also of Brimfield, made available so we didn’t run out day one of our Annual Garlic Sale weekend. We’re talking nearly 25lbs of Garlic sold in pre sale and another in person in just two days! We have NEVER seen so many folks show up & show interest in planting garlic & to keep their dollar local. We met a lot of folks, answered a lot of questions, had a lot of good chats, & you can always message us if you have any questions. If we don’t know the answer, we will point you in the direction of someone who might!

Another big thanks to Byrnes Family Homestead of Brimfield for their stunning & delicious eggs! Since we don’t raise birds ourselves just yet, we are always grateful to partner up with other Brimfield growers.

Thank you to Twin Pines Farm of Brimfield for providing us with Garlic from their own planting stock. It’s not often a Farmer is open to selling what they themselves intend on planting. They were able to spare several pounds for us to make available! Then, less than 12hrs before this big annual sale of ours, I nearly sold out of culinary garlic in pre orders! But again Twin Pines Farm saved the day and had a couple pounds of theirs ready for me when the sun came up. I nearly became all hype and no garlic if it hasn’t been for the help their small farm right here in Brimfield.

We purchased 3 lbs of culinary garlic and about 67 cloves of seed garlic to planting this October 🧄 I hope its enough!
