Look at these gorgeous photos we snapped of Athena ( buckskin Tobiano Gypsy vanner mare due to foal at the end of June ) and new to the pastures and getting some meat on her bones A’ine pronounced Anya a yearling buckskin Tobiano half Gypsy filly .

Keep an eye on the page for Athena’s new foal pics and casually looking for a new pasture for A’ine. She is smart, gentle kind and willing ! Also we are putting feelers out for a new home for Prince the stallion .

We got our new breeding ram for the next couple years ! He is the neatest color ! I’ve never seen anything like him and he should produce nice stout babies . Thanks ! And thanks Brandi York for picking him up and taking him for a ride in the cab of your truck 🤣

He is settled nicely into the quarantine stall for the next couple weeks . Remember , if you are just getting into raising animals the quarantine period is a very important part of the process ! Especially when you have a closed flock of sheep like we do and like to do minimal interventions such as vaccinating and worming .

We still have two flashy black and white ram lambs ready to wean around the Fourth of July . Other than that it’s looking like all lambs are spoken for for 2026.

Is anybody looking for a new commercial Katahdin breeding ram ? I have a three year-old absolutely massive loudly colored black and white Katahdin ram or several of his babies that would make great candidates or is anybody interested in raising them for meat? We will be weaning Lambs the week of the 15th, so lambs will be ready to be picked up around that time . Pm the farm to reserve yours today !

Would anybody be interested in peafowl🦚 hatching eggs? We have definitely seen a very high percentage fertilization rate, but have not had any hatch yet due to humidity issues in our incubator. The male in the pen is a silver pied and then there are India blue, blue pied and black shoulder females in there . Please PM the farm for info .
Update : all extra 🦚 eggs are currently spoken for.

We have quite a few straight run rainbow layer chicks available. Located in Brimfield Il . The breeds that were in that pen were Partridge and blue Partridge Brahmas, golden cuckoo Marans and cream crested legbars . The picture attached is not great, but basically they all look kind of different from each other so it would be a fun group to get ❤️ 🐥golden cuckoo Marans lay darker brown spotted eggs, cream crested leg bars lay blue to blue green eggs and Brahmas lay a large off white to light brown egg .

Edit to add: for anyone willing to take four or more of these I will offer a discount from the price…. We really really need the Brooder space ASAP and I do have to add that the breeds that we have in this group are very unique and very nice birds and this would be a great opportunity to have very nice birds for very decent price. We do not own hatchery stock chickens at all so these are very, very nice birds that you can’t just go to a Feed Store or order from a hatchery.

We still have a few silkie and silkie Polish mix chicks left . Located in brimfield Illinois. The birds pictured are the parent birds. Sorry they’re not the most awesome pictures, but it will give an idea. At the time these eggs were fertilized all these birds were together . Please pm the farm for more info

We ended up with bunches of extra chicks after farm and ranch days this year . We have silkies and silkie polish mixes ....

We ended up with bunches of extra chicks after farm and ranch days this year . We have silkies and silkie polish mixes . We also have a mix from our larger breed pens ( breeds had not been separated prior to that hatch ) Brahmas, golden cuckoo Marans and cream legbars . I’d like $8 for the large breed mixes and silkies are $18 for naked neck silkies and $16 for others . There is a chance for frizzle in the silkie pen. The picture is really just for attention I may be able to get some better photos tomorrow .
