Preparing new ground to plant potatoes today. This area is where Dan has rotated chickens and steers for grazing in previous years. Never any chemicals, sprays just natural goodness for higher quality plants.

Crews have been working hard in the heat to catch up on planting. Its hot, dirty work and not everyone can physically do it. Put in the work, stick to it and finish the day. But those that worked a full day yesterday knocked it out! Great work!!

Hoop 1 was filled with tomatoes a few weeks ago and they certainly are enjoying the warm days. Tunnel 2 was filled with tomatoes and peppers. If we can get a morning without wind , Tunnel 1 will get covered and more tomatoes.
Crews have been busy planting broccoli, cauliflower, summer squash, zucchini, cabbage and today we will plant snap peas and green beens. Its been a slow spring with the weather, but we are pushing hard to get it all in the ground.
