Paul update: he has done several laps around the ICU with his nurse, had a couple of meals, and is on track to maybe go home early next week. 🥳🥰🙌🏻

The Brandt’s and I (Tanya) want to thank all of you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers! I am thankful that they have such a fantastic support group! 💖🍷

Greetings Inarians!! Tanya here. (The nutjob that was behind the counter on weekends and Holidays) While the store may be gone, our time together has never been forgotten. I just wanted to pop on here to give y’all a quick update about C.W., our Chief Winer, a.k.a. Mr. Crankypants, a.k.a. Paul.

Unfortunately, he has not been feeling well recently. Thanks to his excellent doctor, tests were run and the problem identified quickly. Long story made short: He is scheduled to undergo quintuple (yes, that means 5) bypass surgery on Friday, January 9.

Paul and Aulikki would appreciate all the prayers, well wishes, and good vibes you can muster! Pray for guidance for the surgeon, for Paul’s strength to heal, and for Aulikki’s sanity. I will be sitting with Aulikki as it happens, so I will update everyone once all is done.

We all miss every one of you and often enjoy reminiscing about our adventures at Inari! 💖🍷🥰

While it is true that we have been closed for years, we never forget and fondly remember all of our friends who became family. Those weekly "tastings" were such the special events to kick off a weekend.

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of one of our special helpers and sometimes-employee, Kathy Grace, on September 15. Her daughter, Kyla, has arranged for a memorial gathering to be held at Abingdon Vineyards on Sunday, October 23, 2022, from 1-4pm.

Charcuterie boards will be available, but people are welcome to bring some finger foods.

Please join us if you can to give a farewell toast to the lovely lady who was always eager to help, quick with a joke, and always had a big smile for everyone. (she is on the right in this photo from Christmas 2008). We will be sure to share the hilarious story of when she helped run the store so the Brandts could go on vacation. It still makes me laugh!

Paul here, I’ve been hearing a lot of Hoopla about CBD products so I thought I would try it for my aches and pains, follow my journey at CBD and OPB3. I have talked to many about CBD,including my Doctor, and all I’ve heard are great results.

On Paul’s birthday we ventured to the Lumac Rooftop Bar at the Bristol Hotel. Wow, what a view over Bristol and the mountains - feels like big city views with our small town charm.
We had margaritas and the trout dip appetizer - very good and service is excellent - being Wednesday there was live music and that just uplifted our experience. We highly recommend.

Old Lighthouse Diner, if you have not been there yet, you are missing an awesome meal. Our favorite is the corned beef hash, but go early, because it is home made and it goes fast. Great family owned business, awesome food, great service!
