If Ila named this flower, she’d name it “Yummy” and I think that’s a great name for sweet peas. We grew these our first season and then took a break. But they’re back, and they still smell incredible 😍 first few stems are for our house, ya know, to make it smell amazing 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

Harvested a couple peonies in the rain this morning! Our sold out peony CSA starts next week but we have some extra peony bunches available in the farmstand 🩷

Do you love pulling weeds? Do you have attention to detail? Love to work alone and be independent?

We're looking for someone to help keep our flower rows looking their best this season.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time work. Perfect for someone with a few free hours at a time who enjoys being outdoors even in the heat.

What we're looking for:
🌼 Ability to work independently and efficiently
🌼 Reliable and self-motivated
🌼 Comfortable working in all weather conditions (sun, wind, rain, etc.)
🌼 Able to bend, kneel, and spend time on your feet
🌼 Attention to detail and willingness to learn

What we offer:
🌸 Flexible scheduling
🌸 Work a few hours at a time
🌸 Peaceful outdoor environment surrounded by flowers and pollinators
🌸 Seasonal position

No farming experience is necessary, but a love of being outdoors and getting your hands dirty is a must.

If you ask Thomas what he looks forward to the most this fall, he’ll tell you harvesting and carrying all these pumpkins. I’m joking, we have tons of other fun stuff to look forward to too🤪🤪. Our pumpkin patch is officially planted and we will welcome these beauties come September. Now to plant a s**t ton of other stuff, including squash! And some other fun things I haven’t mentioned yet 😏

Thanks for some planting help from my mom and dad, Emmett, Declan, Wesley who wanted to join the planting party and baby Callum the sleepy supervisor throughout it all. A+ job.

Look what I found this morning 🌸 peony season is CLOSE but not quite here yet. Thankfully our field didn’t suffer any damage from that insane wind, hail and rain storm last night 🫠

Fall may still be a few months away, but now’s the time to plan for pumpkins🎃 Today, Thomas and I laid more than 4,000 feet of Bio360 compostable, biodegradable mulch.

It’ll last through the growing season and then naturally break down into the soil — which means no pulling plastic or major fall cleanup later on 🙌 Now it’s time to fill these rows with lots and lots of pumpkin seeds! 🎃
