I haven’t posted anything in quite a while. Been hit from all sides with different problems….health,work and family business issues. But I’m happy to say it’s way past time for me to start posting great places to enjoy again! We have a lot of them around here to showcase….keep your eyes open for more soon! 😎

The Crabby Cafe came highly recommended to me by someone. We had some free time today to give them a try and was very happy with the outcome. Our server Alexis was absolutely the sweetest and very knowledgeable with the recommendations from the menu. I had the flounder,oysters and shrimp fries and hush puppies. And my wife had the fried cod which tasted like it was beer battered, but not sure though. But every thing was absolutely delicious even the yeast rolls they brought before the meal. And to top off the service the owner Carl came to our table and introduced himself very nice man. If you like seafood you should really give them a try it’s worth the drive.

I’ve been told several times to check out Big Boys BBQ & Grill……and why it took me this long, I will never know. Upbeat, friendly, happy and delicious would be just a few of the words I’d use to describe it.

Was just going to get a sandwich and chose the Chopped Cheese. Wow, heaven on a bun. Smooth and melty cheese mixed into ground beef, peppers and onions. A+…..and I added fries which were perfection. So, I also tasted the Mac-N-Cheese…..oh my goodness, have mercy…..best ever, Collard Greens were the bomb! They have all sorts of homemade desserts and most of their best dishes aren’t even on their menu so when you go, ask your server for suggestions . Our server was Ciara and she and Brittany lead us right down the path to the best of the best dishes. TJ is not only the Big Boy and mastermind and his precious wife, Misty is right by his side and has been since opening day, August 6, 2023. Listen, apparently when you serve up food this delicious, it just makes you super happy because we’ve never seen a more connected, jubilant staff…..it was a true joy to eat with the Big Boy and his family. Finally spotted the Pauly Wally Weiner Wagon on Saturday and decided to stop in and give it a try. While waiting in line, everyone gave suggestions as they were big fans of this guy! So…..I went with their suggestions and ordered a hot dog and a bratwurst. What a witty, friendly guy that Paul is. He talked the whole time he made my food to order. We talked trucks and cars and food. My favorite subjects. Both of these were served up on buttered rolls that were seasoned and grilled on his griddle. Lots of condiments available to top off his grillwork. The hot dog was really good but that brat…..mmmm, it was killer. Melty cheese and jalapeño stuffed and delicious.

So, I’ll follow this guy on FB and check him out again as soon as possible. Recommend that when you see his colorful, fun Antique GMC and matching food wagon….you check him out as well. So nice to meet and eat with you on Saturday, Paul. Keep on keepin’ on….
