How true🙄

Narcissists and toxic people reveal their envy when they copy you, study you, scapegoat you, attempt to provoke you, minimize you, and compete with you in a one-sided competition.

They mimic your style but call it coincidence. They steal your ideas and present them louder. They watch your every move, not out of admiration, but inventory. They are taking notes on what to take. Your joy becomes their blueprint and their threat.

When they cannot be you, they try to break you. So they scapegoat you. Suddenly you are the problem in every story they tell. Your boundaries become “attitude.” Your success becomes “luck.” Your peace becomes “fake.” They need you to be the villain so they can feel like the hero.

They poke and prod, waiting for a reaction they can screenshot. They want you to explode so they can point and say “see, I told you.” Your calm disarms them, so they escalate. If you do not play, they call you cold. If you do play, they call you crazy.

My new friend Lara Thomas gifted me with these 2 beautiful Iris blooms and inspired me to add a few of my own blooms and make an arrangement. Lara has gorgeous flowers ❤️
