FOUR SEATS LEFT. Thomas and I are honored to have been invited by Nancy Wall Hopkins, , to teach at her beloved Historic Eastman House for an intimate Interactive Culinary & Wine Experience. For decades, Nancy served as Food Editor for Better Homes & Gardens, helping shape the way millions of Americans cooked, gathered, and celebrated around their own tables. Today, she continues that legacy through the Eastman House Cookery Studio, where she welcomes a select collection of chefs and culinary professionals to share what they've spent a lifetime learning. To be invited into that circle—and into her historic home—is a genuine privilege.

Together, we'll spend the morning preparing one of French Magnolia's signature dishes, Poisson en Papillote, mastering the elegant but deceptively difficult art of Beurre Blanc, and exploring and tasting thoughtfully paired wines with Thomas.
Then comes the part I always look forward to most—gathering for lunch together.

RIP Abigail Jane Fraley (Abbey). Born in Charleston SC May 5, 2014. We lost our most precious baby today at 13 years plus old. Smartest and most loving dog ever. She swam with the big dogs in the ocean on Sullivan’s Island at 6 months. Loved everyone, especially children and other dogs. She was loved DEEPLY by us and everyone who ever met her. She never met a stranger. Our hearts grieve in a horrible way today. Lots of tears!!! The dog of a lifetime - the one who can’t be replaced. LOVED the beach, scrambled eggs with steak, toys and presents and snuggles with movie-family time. We love you Abbey - FOREVER. ❤️
