We made it! Last night we pulled in late at the Big E in Springfield, MA, for the Northeast Highland Cattle Association show. BYR Fernando and BYR Mr. Bojangles came along to test themselves in the show ring. They are pretty tuckered out from the ride over, the wash and blowout this morning, and the showmanship clinic this afternoon. Tomorrow is the big day! A huge thank you to everyone who supported us getting here - a new farm-sitter Carolyn, Jose, for checking in on the dogs last night, and the Byre Clan 4-H for their weekly work haltering, walking, and handling the cows, and to our wonderful bovine vet, Dr. Pete, who is there for us in a pinch.
