I wanted to take a minute and give a truly heartfelt thank you to the many customers who reached out with condolences, sympathy, and prayers.

This week, we laid to rest our aunt Alice. Many longtime customers may remember her. She retired several years ago, but she is a one of the reasons that JR's Produce continues to exist. When Jr and Louise decided to retire, she ran the market for about 15 years for us. We would not still be here if it were not for her dedication.

On a personal note, she also cared for our children as if they were her own. That is truly priceless. We will miss her and our kids will as well.

It has been hard saying goodbye.

So, thank you for your love, understanding, and consideration!
