GREAT NEWS FROM THE INDIANA STATE FAIR WINE COMPETITION: Elderberry won a Double Gold Medal🥇and beat out all the fruit wines for Best Fruit Wine! Baked Apple and Little Rhineland White won Gold Medals 🏅. (Baked Apple won Best Dessert Wine a couple years ago). The following also won Silver Medals: Dry Riesling, Cranberry, Jubilee Red, Elderflower, Indulgence Port and Malbec. Bronze Medals included Jubilee Rose and Petite Pearl! A super sweet very thin black male cat is at Dan and Donna's house on Hwy 62 by Winzerwald Winery. He loves to be petted and jumped in my lap in the car as I was getting out and cuddled against me. We have a cat already but he is definitely someone’s as he is used to humans. He was even sweet to our 3 and 6 year old grandsons. Let us know if he is yours or if you would like him or share this with others.

Plans changed due to the rain? Come hang with us at Winzerwald. Join us for our Wein Jams concert with the Chuck Flaim Duo tomorrow, Sat. Aug. 1 live from Noon-3:00 central. We will move them inside if it rains out.
Our featured slushie is Blueberry & Blackberry and we've brought back our bread and herbed olive oil appetizer and snickerdoodle dessert pretzels with cinnamon and sugar and vanilla frosting dip!

Arianna and Jenny on Guitar and fiddle will play folk and originals for us today from 12:00-3:00 central during our Cheesecake Lovers Sips and Samples event. They are warming up now—incredible musicians you do not want to miss.
